Lunch and Learn—Bio-psycho-social-spiritual approaches to wellness – TRU Newsroom
CMHA Mental Health Week at TRU—Feature Presentation
Add some tools to your Mental Health toolkit with the Lunch and Learn presentation Bio-Psycho-Social-Spiritual Approach to Wellness, presented by Registered Clinical Counsellor and the Clinical Director of Healing Spaces Kelsey Grimm. This event is hosted by CUPE and TRU People & Culture—Health and Well-Being
Join us to discuss the four pillars required for a healthy foundation in our lives. This includes our biological, psychological, social and/or spiritual needs.
We will explore:
- the realities of how COVID-19 has impacted our lives and how we can try to find balance in difficult situations
- what happens when we are out of balance and have too much or too little in one area of our lives
- indicators of being out of balance and how we can respond when this happens
Please note: This Lunch and Learn will be held via Zoom. Campus Wellness Advisor Joy Demsey will send you a calendar invite with the invite link. If you do not receive an email, please message her at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that TRU OLFM’s are unable to invoice their time when attending this presentation.
