Castanet Kamloops | Van Hamme talks grant – TRU Newsroom

TRU receives $850,000 from the federal Canadian Foundation for Innovation for genomics research. The money will go toward the expansion of the world-class genomic research lab, said Dr. Jonathan Van Hamme, professor of microbiology. He is collaborating with two other professors, TRU molecular ecologist Dr. Eric Bottos and the University of Saskatchewan’s Dr. Lingling Jin (computer science) to establish the TRUbI/O Network.
