Elaine Alec Day is from the Syilx (Okanagan) Nation and Secwépemc (Shuswap) Nation. She is an entrepreneur of 23 years and partner of Indigenous-owned and -operated planning company called Alderhill Planning Inc. Elaine is a first-time author of “Calling My Spirit Back,” published by Tellwell Talent (June 27, 2020). She is an advocate for women and girls, facilitator and mediator for highly sensitive issues and has spent over 20 years in over 100 communities across Canada creating space for individuals to come together and plan from a place of self-determination.
