Overlanders’ Bridge Rock Stabilization | City of Kamloops

January 27, 2020 at 7:07 pm  Kamloops, Municipal, News

Starting tomorrow, January 28, contractors will be scaling the rock wall on the south end of the Overlanders’ Bridge to assess the stability of the rock face.

After some rocks fell from the rock face over the weekend, crews are assessing the hillside to ensure that the roadway below is safe for pedestrians and motorists.

Motorists are advised that the area will be a 30 km/hr construction speed zone, to use caution when driving in the area, to expect delays, and to obey all traffic control devices.
