TRU faculty member Dr. Rebecca Sanford, who teaches in the School of Social Work and Human Service, is also a clinical social worker, researcher, educator and suicide loss survivor. As the loss survivor chair for the board of the Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention, she offers some suggestions in Kamloops This Week on how to cope and how to help others as Sept. 10 World Suicide Prevention Day approaches.
