Second Annual Kamloops International Buskers Festival Begins!
The second annual Kamloops International Buskers Festival, brought to you by the City of Kamloops, Tourism Kamloops and the Kamloops Arts Council and presented once again by BCLC, is back for four days of fun in Riverside Park from July 25 to 28. Performers from around the world will fill the weekend with acrobatics, juggling, comedy, magic, and awe-inspiring performances.
Opening ceremonies begin tonight at 4:30 pm on Stage 1, followed by the first performance at 5:00 pm. Performances take place all weekend at three main stages, the new dedicated music stage, and busk stops around the park. There are many new acts this year, so you can expect to see something new and exciting!
This is a free, family event; however, the performers work for gratuities. They welcome tips at the end of their performances and keep all of the funds. This allows them to continue to travel and share their art.
