WCT’s Stage One Theatre School presents HERE WE SIT
Western Canada Theatre’s Stage One Theatre School is proud to present the hilarious comedy Here We Sit.
Here We Sit is a comical look at what a show is like from the audience perspective! A series of sixteen, quick-paced scenes illuminate the joys and tribulations of the modern theatre-going experience.
The feisty Lottie and Bernice will propel you through all facets of theatre, all the while expressing their own interesting perspective. If you’ve ever seen an on-stage performance, you’ll surely relate to many of these scenes, for example, “What is the Crowd Thinking,” “The Art of Picking your Seat,” or “Trapped Like Rats.”
About WCT’s Stage One Theatre School Performance Class
In WCT’s Stage One Theatre School’s two-week-long Performance Class, young students showcase their skills on stage in a show produced for public audiences. Some of our last shows included Hamlet Hears a Who, 30 Reasons Not to Be in a Play, and The Wizard of Oz. Students learn the rehearsal process, characterization and stage presence, while having the fun, fantastic experience of bringing a script to life!
