Beyond 150 Mural: Artist and Funding Acknowledgement

June 14, 2019 at 9:05 am  Kamloops, The Arts

A mural commissioned by the Kamloops Arts Council that embodies Kamloops and Canada’s multicultural heritage is placed on display in the Brocklehurst Arena.  The image is broken down into 150 separate pieces, which in turn assembles to a 150 sq ft mural.

Artist Chris Bose completed the mural with assistance from Four Directions, Arbour Collective & the community of Kamloops / Tk’emlups.

On June 21, 2019 we acknowledge the work of this collaborative group effort and thank the supporting funders.  We invite you to join us at the Brocklehurst Arena, 2470 Fleetwood Ave on June 21, National Aboriginal Day, at 9:30 am.
