Green Living Expo – Downtown Kamloops
Living green is great for planet earth, but it can be hard knowing what steps you can take or whats available in the market. Luckily, Green Living Expo is coming up! The event will help teach you what you can do to help better care for planet earth.
The Green Living Expo is happening Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the Sandman Centre from 10 AM – 4 PM. There are going to be many fun activities to see like a fashion show, garden demonstrations, repair-café, kid zones with hands on activities, and so much more. There will also be food trucks too! And the best part is the event admission is FREE!
The Green Living Expo is also going to have live music and games to play. Check out the many musicians including, Malik Mohammed, Sean Luciuw, Brendan Methot and more! We will be setting up some of our popular games like giant Jenga and connect four in front of the Sandman Centre.
A common question we get asked by people is, “what is green living expo?” This event is to help educate and inform our community about topics like recycling, and how to grow food, and about using less like riding a bike instead of driving.
Green Living Expo is a fun event that you will not want to miss. It will provide you with so much knowledge about how to live green.
Come visit the Expo and learn how to do your part to keep the planet happy and healthy by checking out each booth and gaining as much knowledge as possible.
This event is organized by the City of Kamloops, so watch for their many booths with information to answer any questions that you may have about living green!
Come find the CAP Team at the Expo! We’re giving away reusable, glass water bottles to help live more green!
